The R.E.A.D.Y Learning Approach is Five Acre Wood School’s Sixth Form provision for pupils aged 16 to 19 as they prepare for adulthood and life beyond school.

Our personalised pathways support pupils of all abilities, enabling them to develop the skills, knowledge and qualifications most relevant to their individual aspirations and next steps. We are proud of the inclusive, socially integrated environment we provide, where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Learning focuses on preparation for adulthood, including independence, employability, community participation and personal development. Through age-appropriate experiences tailored to each pupil’s interests, strengths and needs, we prepare young people for college, specialist provision, employment and living as independently as possible.
