Exciting plans for our very own double-decker bus!

We were thrilled when Nu-venture bus company decided to make a rather large donation to Five Acre Wood School; our very own double-decker bus!

Back in November, Mr Kemp, the owner of Nu-Venture bus company, came to visit the school to officially hand over the bus which will be transformed into a soft play and sensory area. As well as handing over the keys, we discussed opportunities to help develop our pupil’s confidence when using public transport. In partnership with Nu-Venture, we are exploring how we could help to improve bus journeys for people with additional needs – an exciting initiative that will benefit pupils across all our sites, the wider community and beyond.

Renovation plans are already underway, and we cannot thank Mr Kemp and Nu-Venture enough for their amazing donation, belief, and support. The journey has begun!
