Our 7FAW7 Plane Library is one of the most imaginative and inspiring learning spaces at Five Acre Wood School.

Housed in a real aircraft fuselage, this innovative library has been carefully designed to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. In the face of limited space, this project demonstrates how creative thinking can transform challenges into opportunities—creating a cost-effective and engaging environment that enhances our provision.

At a time when literacy and reading are more important than ever, the 7FAW7 library plays a key role in supporting pupils to develop a love of books and storytelling. It provides a stimulating setting that encourages curiosity, imagination and a lifelong enjoyment of reading.

Just as the aircraft once carried passengers on journeys across the continent, it now takes our pupils on journeys of discovery—opening up new worlds through learning.
