New Single Release: “I Love My Life ft. Barny Holmes”

This time next week, on 6th June, Five Acre Wood School will be proudly releasing a brand new single on our very own record label – Five Acre Wood Records!

Our talented signing choir has already made a name for themselves in the music world, releasing a handful of singles, the latest being “The Loud Mouse Song (ft. Taryn Charles)” in March. Now, they’re back with an uplifting rendition of Robbie Williams’ 2016 hit, “I Love My Life,” featuring the incredible Barny Holmes.

“I Love My Life (ft. Barny Holmes)” is more than just a song – it’s a powerful celebration of self-worth, positivity, and the strength of resilience. The recording session was filled with excitement, and we can’t wait to share it with the world!

We’re especially grateful to Barny Holmes, who has been an amazing supporter of Five Acre Wood for over a decade. Earlier this year, Barny even joined our team for the Hadrian’s FAW All charity walk in April. And the excitement doesn’t stop there – he’ll be returning to perform at our Woodstock Festival this summer!

Barny’s musical career spans over 20 years, with songs featured on BBC Radio and performances at major festivals like Sundown, Brighton Pride, Astonbury Festival, and Art Football. You might also recognise him from TV appearances on The X Factor, The Voice, and Sing Date. He’s accomplished so much, and his passion for music is truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to Barny Holmes for collaborating with us on this special track, and to all those who helped make this project possible: DeeVu Records, Kevin Thorpe, ETB Audio Visual, and Kingswood’s Grosvenor Hall Activity Centre.

We’re incredibly proud of this track and hope you love it as much as we do! When it’s released, you can buy it on iTunes for just 99p – let’s aim for the charts! If Robbie Williams can do it, so can we!
