Welcome to FOX Class!

There are seven pupils in the class. Monika is our Teacher, Jane is the Senior Teaching Assistant and Katie and Kyle are our Teaching Assistants. They all support us well in gaining our full potential! Our class is very lively and enthusiastic. We like to keep busy by playing and learning and our Teachers are proud of our excellent progress that we make.

Our lessons are fun and interesting and help us to extend our social and personal skills. We learn how to play with each other, share and take turns. As well as written work we also have fun using new technology such as I-pads, computer and Interactive Whiteboard. Educational programs and videos which are shown on our Interactive Whiteboard help us to understand things more clearly.

We like reading and having stories read to us. We have got opportunity to gain our favourite books. We like to flick through the pages to look at the pictures too.

We enjoy doing PE, especially now, where we explore different movements that our favourite characters can make.

We like going for walks and shopping and this includes us in the community. We take a shopping list with us and we try to choose our own items independently. At the moment we will be exploring our local shop Spar. We can also extend our knowledge about Road Safety.

Even though we enjoy practical tasks the most, we know that we have to do written work as well. We learn through observing, experimenting and having fun all through the day!

In Numeracy we are learning to see the difference in objects by looking at their size, length, weight and quantity. Some of us will be able to order these objects too. We also want to improve our knowledge of numbers.

On Fridays we go to different classes and attend clubs of our own choice with our friends.

We all have many friends in our own class as well as from other classes; we play with them in the playground, on the field and in the sensory garden.
